Yasu City and the Borough of Antrim and Newtownabbey in Northern Ireland enjoyed a school-based cultural exchange last year. The children in Yasu found it to be a very interesting and enjoyable experience. This year, to help them, and all residents of Yasu learn more about Northern Ireland, we decided to hold this English Haiku competition.

Happily we received 75 entries for this competition, and are currently in the process of judging them. As well as judging, we must also arrange the prizes. This all may take some time, but please bear with us. We will contact winners and put the results on this homepage in due course. Thanks a lot for supporting our activities!
